How does support work at neuSprung?

The path to the right support starts here
At neuSprung, we support families and young people with clarity, structure, and an open mind for what is really needed.
Many come to us feeling uncertain, exhausted, or simply at a loss – especially when neurodiversity such as autism or ADHD adds to the challenges of everyday life.
Whether you have initial questions or are in an acute crisis situation, we will guide you from your initial inquiry to the right support. Step by step. Personally. And with genuine understanding.
How it works –
step-by-step support
Get in touch
Fill out our digital inquiry form. This will serve as the basis for our initial conversation. Once we receive your form, we will contact you promptly—personally and without complications.
Initial consultation
In a non-binding consultation, we will clarify together:
– What is currently weighing on you?
– What form of support is appropriate?
– Who is already involved?
We will define initial goals, discuss open questions, and align expectations. The consultation can take place by phone, digitally, or on site.
Quotation & cost coverage guarantee (KÜG)
Based on the consultation, we will prepare an individual offer with the following content:
– Goal of the support
– Number of hours & frequency
– Responsible specialist
– Duration, location & methodology
– Cost overview
The quotation serves as the basis for the application for cost approval from the AJB. We will assist you with the application and forwarding.
Start of support
Support begins as soon as the cost approval has been received. Our specialist will contact you and work with you to tailor the support to your individual needs.
Possible forms of support:
– Home visits & family discussions
– Youth coaching or individual support
– Support in everyday life (e.g., school, leisure activities)
On-site discussion & conclusion
In regular on-site meetings, we reflect together on:
– How far have the goals been achieved?
– Is further support needed?
– Should the support be extended or concluded?
At the end, you will receive a written evaluation or a recommendation for next steps upon request.
General Questions
Parents, young people, or other caregivers can contact us directly—no referral or preliminary assessment is necessary. Professionals are also welcome to contact us with any concerns or questions.
The Office for Youth and Career Counseling (AJB) covers the costs, provided that a corresponding cost approval (KÜG) has been issued. We will assist you with the application process.
As soon as the application has been submitted and approved – usually within 1–3 weeks. In crisis situations, we offer bridging financing.
Contact us directly. We offer short-term crisis intervention—by phone or on-site.
KÜG, Offer & Cost
A cost coverage guarantee is an official commitment to cover the costs of an escort. We can help you with the application process.
That depends on how the request is made:
If the parents contact the Child and Youth Welfare Center (KJZ), the responsible specialist there submits the application for cost approval to the AJB. If parents come to us directly, they submit the application to the AJB themselves. We support them every step of the way.
Description of the goal, number of hours, role of the specialist, planned duration, methodology, and cost estimate.
If KÜG is approved: nothing. However, without KÜG, you may have to bear the costs yourself. We will discuss this with you transparently.
Content & Specializations
SPF stands for social pedagogical family support. It supports families in stressful everyday situations – e.g., conflicts, exhaustion, or uncertainties in parenting.
At neuSprung, we support families directly in their everyday lives – individually, in a structured manner, and with special experience in dealing with neurodiversity such as autism or ADHD.
We have many years of experience in supporting neurodiverse children and their families – especially those with autism and ADHD.
Our specialists work with structural aids, visualizations, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). We focus on clear processes, sensitive relationship building, and a neurodiversity-sensitive mindset—tailored to the individual child and their environment.
Yes. We support young people aged 14 and above, for example, in their transition to independence, with relationship issues, identity development, or choosing a training program.
